Lights, Camera, Cure: Taking Action Against Juvenile Diabetes is an annual event that promotes advocacy and education of diabetes while raising funds to promote research and an eventual cure for diabetes. The Lights, Camera, Cure event includes a family movie, education to teach youth in the community about diabetes, and a fundraiser for diabetes research.
Lights, Camera, Cure was designed to involve youth as volunteers and participants at the event that is both educational and entertaining to help them learn at a young age to be advocates and to be involved.
